Experience the vibrant revival of the Essex Studios ArtWalk, a diverse bi-annual arts event nestled in Cincinnati's historic creative hub, Essex Studios. This immersive experience unfolds within the halls of a thriving local art studio community, bringing together a wide array of local artisans, crafters, small businesses, musicians, and the talented tenants of Essex Studios.
Amidst the challenges of the pandemic in 2020, when the world took a pause, so did the beloved ArtWalk. In 2022, Essex Studios joyously announced the return of the ArtWalk, infused with renewed energy and creativity. To mark this special occasion, the visionaries at Essex Studios commissioned a re-brand with the goal of capturing the essence of this vibrant cultural celebration.
Inspired by the striking mural adorning the studios, I infused the event with a bold and sleek design. Embracing the dynamic black, white, and red palette of their previous logo as well as utilizing the "splat" motif, I refined the fonts and standardized the visual elements, ensuring a seamless and cohesive aesthetic throughout all of the deliverables.

The final logo sported a design with a pinker tinge to the splat, helping denote it as a paint splatter; a color that would work well whether on a black, or white background.
The initial deliverable took the form of a tri-fold directory accessible to all guests upon entry. This brochure features a detailed building map derived from facility blueprints, studio information, and highlights key weekend events to enhance the overall guest experience.
The second deliverable consisted of an informational hand-out card tailored for Essex tenants to share within their circles, aiming to promote and raise awareness about the event within the local community.
